The Encyclopedia of Water, currently being published by John Wiley and Sons is a three-year collaboration of works by scientists, educators, graduate students and water professionals to form the largest and most comprehensive assortment of information on water ever created.
The distinguished group of contributing water experts will share their wealth of knowledge in over 1500 encyclopedic entries to be published in 2005.

The Encyclopedia of Water was compiled in a similar fashion as the 70-year compilation of the original Oxford English Dictionary. The Encyclopedia of Water, as with the Oxford Dictionary was created with the contributions of scientists, educators and professionals to form the premier source of information for the ages.
